It's all very convenient.
Fresh of winning a sackful of Emmys, Seth Rogan reprises his role as a commissioner in this energetic and persuasive TV spot for SKIP, a Canadian online delivery service. In the highly entertaining ad, Rogan keeps encountering the same problem... none of the characters in the scenarios he invents would find themselves in the situation he describes because they would have been able to use the advertised service. It's another version of the dilemma which leads to so much fictional narrative is now being set in the era before the proliferation of the smart phone. These devices solve too many problems, and so, according to this ad, does SKIP. Thanks to an excellent script from Sammy Lo and Emma Lorenzi of Toronto shop Courage, Rogan and his co-star map out this conceit with conviction, making this as effective as it is entertaining, and, by dint of securing Seth Rogan for the ad, elevate the profile of this service to a new stratosphere.
