Scottish hard rock band Nazareth provide the soundtrack to this charming Rona commercial directed by Greg Hackett. To the strains of 'Love Hurts', we see how ice hockey, one of Canada's two national sports, wreaks havoc on people's homes. "Love is like a cloud, holds a lot of rain," Dan McCafferty sings—it's also like a puck that smashes through a window.

Other victims of hockey hype include (deep breath) lamps, garden ornaments, drywall, garage shutters, coffee tables, and white floors that are just asking to have blue and red lines painted on them. A woman must also endure the stench of her partner’s hockey kit after practice—thank the great good Lord Smell-O-Vision never caught on.

This is where the advertised home improvement retailer comes in. It must love a challenge as it promises to help hockey-loving Canadians deal with the aftermath, as "the game we love is hard on the home". As a woman prepares to fix a hole in her wall, for example, there's a tiny trace of a smile, as if acknowledging that, despite the inconvenience, it was a hell of a shot.
