Readers with keen memories may recall that when we reviewed the original 30" version of this ad for Real Estate Australia, we said that it needed more time to get the idea across... and here's the proof that we were right. This epic edit captures the soul destroying process of finding a house you like only to discover you've been outbid, and the wondrous sensation of knowing that the near misses were worth it when you finally zero in on 'the one'.

To illustrate that these journey of discovery can be conducted from the comfort of our own homes, the family of four on the hunt for a new home are shown making their way through the suburban streets sat on a red sofa. Its is not a straightforward ride, and they go through the full gamut of emotions as they attend auctions and consistently find themselves on the wrong side of the gavel. But the film builds to a moving crescendo, orchestrated by director Nick Ball, as this nuclear family find their forever home, and even the perfectly-cast teenagers allow a smile to crack their veneer of sullenness.
