Perry Pig, Clarence Cow, and Chickson Chicken return in a 30" spot courtesy of agency adam&eveDDB and director Jim Archer. Suffice it to say, Quorn has never been a 'too hot for TV' brand (viewers got a forkful in 2007, but that's about it). To promote Quorn pieces that have no artificial ingredients, however, it's ready to push the envelope. You see, the puppets' nether regions (Percy's sausage included) are pixelated to protect the innocent. Naked as the day they were born/sewn, Perry, Clarence, and Chickson represent animals spared from the slaughterhouse thanks in part to meat substitutes like Quorn. They're also free from additives—why cover up when there's nothing to cover up? As Clarence and Chickson struggle to process this free and easy approach (“Have we always been naked?" "I don't know"), Percy proves to be a consummate professional. In a lovely bit of business, Archer zooms in on his fuzzy hands as he squeezes a lime and shows off burritos made with Quorn mince.
