Nowhere to hide.
What does the world look like through the eyes of prostate cancer? No, DAVID's not got heatstroke or taken too many pills—that's what VCCP's new work for Prostate Cancer UK is all about. It slinks through the letterbox and eyes up another victim: an unsuspecting bloke with his back to the camera. Before it can strike, however, someone shouts: "Hey, leave my dad alone!" His young daughter spots the intruder before it's too late, and she is pissed off. "Get your kicks out of hunting older guys, do you? And picking on Black men twice as much?" she yells as the silent killer tries (and fails) to lose her. Fidgety camerawork reflects how the hunter has become the hunted—so much so that others join in out of righteous anger. It's the girl who steals the show, however, harrying the antagonist up and down the estate. Both her and the advertised charity know it’ll try its bullshit again, but they have researchers, fundraisers, and awareness on their side. If this is what the world looks like to prostate cancer, it should be very, very afraid.
