It's all done with mirrors... and robots! This astounding promo for 'Love' – a new track by OK Go – is a one shot wonder achieved via an astonishing array of in camera trickery. The kaleidoscopic effect is mesmerising, and, surprisingly, all the more so for being able to see how everything was done. This is a promo and a BTS film all in one, as we see technicians step in and out of shot to ensure the seamless continuity.

Best of all, it is a fantastic match for the track itself, both musically and lyrically... the song is a paean to love, and this promo looks like it's been constructed with a great deal of love. A love of craft that is. The joyous scenes at the end when the crew step into shot to applaud the completion of this immensely difficult task tells its own story, and will surely bring a smile to your face.

If we must have robots in our lives, let's have them serving our creativity, as is the case here, rather than replacing it with an efficient algorithm, as seems to be the case just about everywhere else at the moment.
