Alvin a good time.

Radiohead provide the soundtrack to 'Echoes of Ailey,' a short film inspired by the late dancer, director, choreographer, and activist Alvin Ailey. Set to 'Everything in Its Right Place,' it's both a contemporary dance piece and a tour of the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York, home of the 'Edges of Ailey' exhibition.

Everything is indeed in its right place thanks to Francesca Harper's potent choreography and director Ezra Hurwitz's clever use of architecture. The dancers complement the space full of Ailey's work, as if they draw energy from Ailey's art, notebooks, and correspondence with the likes of Harlem Renaissance leader Langston Hughes.
