RAYE of light.

The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S have ray tracing, but the Nintendo Switch 2 has RAYE tracing. The singer-songwriter thought "If it's nice, do it twice" and signed up for another Nintendo Christmas ad directed by Jamie Rafn, who's become the Japanese video game company's go-to guy in the UK. Shame there's no Jamie Rafn Amiibo yet.

Instead we have a jovial plug for the console and three games RAYE would play all day if she could: 'Donkey Kong Bananza'; 'Super Mario Party Jamboree'; and 'Mario Kart World'. Unlike so many ambassadors for hardware and software over the years, you feel like RAYE cares about what's in front of her (when it's time for Donkey Kong to enter Beast Mode, the artist gives it some welly).

She also cares about those she plays with, whether it's old friends or the daughter of a close pal. Her rapport with both the cast and the product shows how far we've come from 'Mario Kart' in 'The Sopranos'.
