"Unreal Movement"

13 May 2025

66s

The banshees of London.

Directed by Claryn Chong in her Stink debut (read all about the move here), 'Unreal Movement' is a tie-up between Nike and Bugeisha Club. The former needs no introduction—the latter is a group founded by "self-taught vigilante" Mana Kimura-Anderson, also known as The Nunchuck Princess, who adds a new weapon to her arsenal: the Air Max Dn8 shoe.

With her fellow Banshees—Lara Swift, Becky Tun Pe, April Gunawardena, and Akiko Haruna—Kimura-Anderson looks and moves like an absolute bad-ass en route to Bugeisha Club headquarters. The visuals are shot through with video game energy (even the title evokes 'Unreal Tournament'), but it's also clear these women are the real deal.

The advertised trainers are, therefore, the shoes of choice for new-school martial artists who call the Big Smoke home.
