Marks & Spencer
"Summer Like You Mean It"
2 June 2025
30s

The sun will shine again.
Marks & Spencer would love to go on holiday and forget about real life for a week or two. Just catch some rays with a book in one hand, a cocktail in the other, and pretend that whole £300m cyber-attack business never happened. Would that it were so simple. When online services are back, maybe it can then think about a holiday that looks like this 30" commercial. Directed by Tanu Muiño and set to 'All the Small Things' by Blink-182 (this is neither the time nor the place for Mike Geier's downbeat cover), the ad compels viewers to summer like they mean it: savour that first blast of warm air once the plane has landed; cool down with ice lollies that are somehow sweeter and more colourful abroad; and strut onto balconies like a holidaymaker-slash-trendsetter.
