Dog in a Hot Car
The supernatural promo for 'Dog in a Hot Car' comes with a disclaimer: "All flies in this video were found dead on the set location and we decided to use them in the video. We didn't kill the flies. RIP flies." Now that singer-songwriter Lonnie Gunn and director Lea Otovic have set the record straight, let's see how they tackle the haunted house trope. Gunn sure as hell drew the Airbnb short straw, as not only is she stuck with no electricity and a bowl of flies for dinner, she's also possessed by a malevolent force that lifts her off the ground. Yet as the Brighton-based talent sings, "I think my body is evil," you wonder if this is an exorcism rather than a possession.
