Let's put the tunes on up loud.

'Feels Right' by Biig Piig works a treat in this Lexus LBX commercial. "I heard you wanna be in the driver's seat/So keep up", she sings, complemented by a slinky guitar riff that never quits. It sets the tone for an easy-breezy car ad directed by MYTHSMYTH's David Edwards and Marie Lanna, who make the advertised SUV look right at home in the city.

You can tell how much Edwards and Lanna care about ease of movement. The camerawork is playful, angular, and alert to small details that add welcome personality (we like how the centre console is used for sushi). Happy to flit between life on the move and in park—never dragon roll and drive, people—the ad suggests that the LBX, well, just feels right for the outgoing protagonist and viewers much like her.
