Who inspires the inspired.

This South African KFC spot is all about originality, where it comes from, and who demonstrates it like it's no big deal. If viewers are unfamiliar with the likes of Sanele Qwabe, Ofentse Mphatsoe, Rowan Sakarombe, or the Island Gals skate crew, then agency Ogilvy South Africa and director Sam Coleman's 90" commercial serves as a neat introduction.

Take Qwabe, for example—a toy maker from Richards Bay, he creates dolls that tower over cities. OK, the real dolls are much smaller, but future toys may well touch the sky. Or how about the Island Gals, who show women how to roll free of fear and harassment. They and others like them excite KFC: soon the inspired will inspire a new generation of creative talent.

It's hungry work, believe it or not, so the brand promotes its Streetwise menu for good measure. The food's well-integrated throughout, as KFC—who make such a big deal out of that Original Recipe—aims to become synonymous with innovators and disruptors.
