Love Hangover

In this exceedingly silly but nonetheless highly entertaining promo for K-pop artist Jennie's collaboration with Dominic Fike, directors Bradley & Pablo have leaned into the whimsy to depict a love story with a difference. You suspect it's going to get crazy when a promo opens with the funeral of one of its stars, and so it proves.

There's a taste of what's to come as we see poor Jennie in an array of dangerous situations, nad as these are fleshed out, he develop a fuller understanding of her paramour's graveside confession that he could have done a better job of looking after her and his vow that he won't let her die... again.

What follows is a delightful mesh of live action and VFX silliness as Jennie redefines the phrase 'accident prone' without ever seeming especially fazed by what is unfolding. It's a great way of drawing attention to the singer's breathless performance of her catchy collaboration.
