Oh, muddy hell.

Kaitlyn Dever, star of 'Apple Cider Vinegar' and soon to be seen as Abby in 'The Last of Us', suffers for her art in this Hotels.com ad directed by Alexander Payne. Dever's signed on to play Queen Marie in a historical epic, only to regret it when the director demands more mud on her dress and yet more mud on her face. What a time for the 1st AD to call lunch, eh?

Dever's no diva, but she is at her wits' end (we like how much more anguished her performance becomes with each subsequent take). Rather than tear her agent a new one or do a Christian Bale, Dever uses the advertised website to book a stay at Hotel Tranquillity. It does the trick for the most part, until a spa employee offers Dever a mud mask. Just... don't go there.
