Party Girl returns.

Season three of 'The White Lotus' might not be everyone’s cup of chai, but Parker Posey sure as hell brought her A-game as Victoria Ratliff. Part woman, part lorazepam, Ratliff lets Posey go places as an actor. This carefree Gap commercial, however, lets Posey return to her dance roots (she took ballet lessons as a youngster) and be a party girl again.

By all accounts, the brand has every right to be in a party mood. Sales are up, the likes of Timothée Chalamet, Anne Hathaway, and Demi Moore sport its clothes on the red carpet, and the Nineties is just good for business right now. Posey, star of 1995's Party Girl—the first film to premiere on the internet, whatever happened to that—fits right in.

It's a wonderful, infectious performance set to 'Mama's Eyes' by Mette, shot by Talia Collis, and choreographed by Sadie Wilking. There are shades of Margaret Qualley and Daniel Craig to it all, but hers is a much breezier bop. Posey looks good and she knows it—that's the kind of confidence Gap lost for the longest time, but has rediscovered in spades.
