Predictable Girl

The promo for 'Predictable Girl' is a motorcycle safety video in no way, shape, or form. Directed by Jordan Hemingway for FKA twigs, the film has the 'Eusexua Afterglow' artist fight dancer Shivawn Joubert for control of the vehicle. We say fight—choreographer James Vu Anh Pham's approach to combat is more carnal than brutal.

It takes the 'Eusexua'/'Eusexua Afterglow' aesthetic into erotic action movie territory. Before the promo runs out of road, it shifts into anime gear, as if Twigs and Joubert ran over a copy of 'Akira' by accident. The whole trip lasts about two-and-a-half minutes, though Twigs sings: "I'm a three minute ride and an eighteen minute walk". Sounds like a Hinge profile crossed with Google Maps.
