Not what I signed up for.
Once upon a time there was a wrestler by the name of Irwin R Schyster, a play on the Internal Revenue Service. He loved to do paperwork, but the wrestler in this Dayforce commercial hates it. He looks the part with his ample muscles and Lucha Libre mask, but he's stuck behind a desk while the crowd bays for blood. Suffice to say, this is not what he trained every hour of every day for. The same goes for the head chef who watches his kitchen burn as over and underscheduled staff carry out other tasks. Ditto the warehouse manager who's caught up in payroll, oblivious to the chaos that threatens employees and terracotta pots alike. As a result, she also misses a lovely nod to Buster Keaton's house stunt from 'Steamboat Bill Jr'. Each scene catches the eye and tickles the funny bone, which is in large part down to director Leigh Marling and his brand of controlled chaos. Businesses keen to avoid real-life disasters and let everyone nail what they were hired to do are encouraged to invest in the advertised software.
