When a track by Confidence Man and Jade Thirlwall starts with the lyrics, "It's so much harder than it looks, I talk about you all day," you know you're in for a good time. Sure enough, 'Gossip' is an electro-pop banger from Brisbane (Confidence Man) and South Shields (Jade) with an obvious desire to take over the world. They might just pull it off, you know.

With a beat able to cash any cheque it writes and spunky repartee between Jade and Grace Stephenson (also known as Janet Planet), 'Gossip' goes hard with tongue firmly planted in its cheek. There's still plenty of time to get a sweat on this summer and the track knows it—all the better if it makes you smile at the absurdity of it all.

This is in large part down to India Harris's wild music video, wherein Confidence Man and Jade have the bar to themselves (save for a couple dancers covered head to toe in black). Happy hour's never been choreographed better, as Harris uses deft camerawork, Russian roulette, and even clones to keep viewers intoxicated.
