Director Bonnie MacRae riffs on singer Chloe Slater's resemblance to actor Daisy Edgar-Jones in this splendid promo which recreates scenes from the latter's breakthrough TV series 'Normal People'. The song is a bitter paean about competing with your other half's best friend, and hearing endlessly about how wonderful they are.

The vibe is a great fit for the angsty on-and-off story at the heart of Sally Rooney's hit novel and the adaptation that warmed our hearts in the middle of the pandemic. It was vital to find a Paul Mescal lookalike to play opposite Slater and the mission was perfectly fulfilled, providing MacRae and her team with the perfect opportunity to create a successful facsimile of some of the programme's iconic scenes, albeit, with added angry singing.
