Director Rodrigo Inada and his cinematographer Pierre de Kerchove demonstrate an astonishing mastery of light and shadow in this captivating promo for a beautiful new track from English singer Celeste. As well as being stunning in its own right, this promo is a perfect fit for the doleful lament it accompanies, and does its job of drawing our attention to the beauty of the song.

We're backstage at a grand event where the singer is one of several performers, none of whom seem especially impressed with their lot as the camera dynamically spins past them in search of Celeste, eventually found sat in front of a mirror. The other key image is a wall of notices initially flapping in the wind, but eventually taking flight in an impressive display as the singer walks through them.

Inada sustains the momentum and the vibe throughout, holding our attention in a fashion which enhances our appreciation of a really interesting track. Bravo.
