"Marry Christmas?"

7 November 2025

50s

O Kevin, where art thou?

Part two of Aldi's Christmas ad reveals that Kevin and Katie are engaged. That's the good news—the bad news is that Kevin's stag do's gone off the rails. No one knows where the carrot's got to, and a blizzard only makes the search harder. As it turns out, Kevin's tied to a candy cane after a trip to Lapland "for the dancing". And we thought he was a paragon of virtue.

As is so often the case in these spots, a side character threatens to steal the show (we love how indignant the pear gets when the term "pear-shaped" is used). We also know the brand loves a cliffhanger—how will this loose remake of 'The Polar Express' sans evil children from the uncanny valley resolve itself? With many more rhymes courtesy of Jim Broadbent, we reckon.
