"We all need someone to make us believe," we're told, whether it's a stranger who spots you at the gym, a teammate who gets up in your grill, or a dog that barks every time you make a basket.

Sprinkled with cameos by the likes of Lamine Yamal, Trinity Rodman, Aitana Bonmatí, and Anthony Edwards, the film is an antidote to toxic behaviour on the sidelines. Rather than insult, belittle, or unsettle, the supportive cast gee up amateur and professional athletes any which way they can. It can even be done in the car, like Edwards's pal does.

This is all complemented by a tweak on 'I'm Sticking With You' by the Velvet Underground, as the brand encourages viewers not to let the good ones go. If someone needs help, help them; if someone helps you, put that energy to good use.
