If you ask Adidas, it's not what keeps you going, but who. Directed by Molly Burdett, this commercial explores how rivalries both fierce and friendly keep players like Aitana Bonmatí, Alessia Russo, Jule Brand, Kadidiatou Diani, Lia Waltí, and Stina Blackstenius sharp. After all, only the sharpest win tournaments like Euro 2025.

Spaniard Bonmatí has already won a World Cup and a Nations League, but she watches Russo—who lit up Euro 2022 with England—on the TV with a face like thunder. It's softened by the strains of 'I'm Sticking With You' by the Velvet Underground, as the best way to keep pace with Russo is to train harder than her. Easier said than done when the England striker trains after everyone else has gone home.

Everyone's got some to beat in Burdett's film, whether they're on the pitch, in the gym, or sat on a wall immersed in a game of Top Trumps. Neither the director nor the brand let it boil over, though—healthy competition is the name of the game. The way Bonmatí and Russo smile at each other before they walk out of the tunnel encapsulates this.
