"Where The Magic Happens"

Oven such a good time.
Natanaël Ericsson directs an innie-outie commercial for oven manufacturer AEG. There are two kitchens in this 60" spot: one where the protagonist prepares a roast duck, Once the door is shut, they have thirty minutes to deliver—in the parlance of 'Great British Menu'—a banquet-worthy dish. DAVID's had plenty of cookery sequences to sink his teeth into over the years, so the kitchen inside an oven concept is a welcome twist to the formula. The ProSteam stage (twenty minutes at 180°C) is all about ingredients and prep work, the Roast stage (ten minutes at 180°C) turns up the pressure, and the Residual Heat stage lets everyone mop their brows. Well-realised Ericsson and his crew, the idea is that an AEG oven makes the magic happen behind closed doors (or one door, to be precise). Suffice to say, the protagonist will take credit for the whole meal, as "The little people in my oven did it!" is the kind of talk that makes guest inch their way to the door.
