The latest Sophie Muller x Kylie Minogue creative collab is also a Kylie x The Blessed Madonna one. Filmed at the Pikes Hotel in Ibiza, the promo has all the hallmarks of a certified pop classic, complete with a pop queen who genuinely looks like she’s having the time of her life, and a Madonna (but in this instance, not that one).

The single’s from the upcoming Blessed Madonna debut album, and its lyrics outline a Saturday night with an agenda including a ‘hot date with my mistakes’. And because ‘Monday doesn’t matter at all’, there’s fun-filled bathtubs, swinging from club rafters, jumping into pools fully clothed, and late night antics like playing tennis with the security detail, etc etc.

When you’ve got a banger like this on your hands, sometimes there’s nothing to do but stick to the tried and true music video formula - and do it well. Something Sophie Muller and DOP Joel Honeywell know a thing or two about, and this is no exception.
