Stay out of the water.

When 'The Day Today' reported a fight between John Major and the Queen, all programmes were suspended and a film "held in reserve for times of crisis" was shown. In response to the amount of sewage released into the sea and rivers in England, writer and director Chris Parton has come up with his own emergency broadcast that puts a 'positive' spin on waste.

Narrated with delusional stoicism by Mark Bonnar, the film claims nothing could ever come between us and our waters—even if the cast are ravaged by skin infections and stomach bugs as a result. As one hardy soul puts it: "A bit of shite never hurt anyone, did it?" Water companies would love it if people adopted that attitude in real life, but Brits have had enough of shit creek, we reckon.
