"Usyk vs Fury 2 - Re-Ignited"

A bout time.

Boxing has always depended on hype but, in the past, it's tended to be pretty unsophisticated, and highly dependent on the charisma of the fighters concerned. Recently though, the style in which boxing matches are promoted has enjoyed a massive lift, and there is now a lot of fun to be had.

Seldom more so than in this film which benefits from the skills of Megaforce and VFX house Selected Works, and advertises the forthcoming bout between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk. Boxing fans will know that this is a rematch, and the conceit of the film is that their previous contest has left them unable to think of anyone other than the other.

The really fun aspect of this film is both boxers' willingness to suggest they are troubled by the other... something that ordinarily they would never concede. This idea really wouldn't work unless they were willing to display this 'weakness' so hats off to whoever persuaded them to do it (even if it was done using a suitcase full of cash).

The music is great. The Hogan re-recorded the Kylie Minogue classic 'Can't Get You Out of My Head', and have delivered a version with the requisite moodiness and menace.

Let's hope the boxing itself is half as entertaining.
