Remember, remember, the 13th of November.
Want to feel old? Then let this plug for Tyson Fury versus Oleksandr Usyk take you back to November 13, 1999. The protagonist remembers it like it was yesterday. Why? Because it was the night Lennox Lewis beat Evander Holyfield in a rematch to end all rematches. The bloke has every jab, hook, and straight burned into his brain—so much so that he acts out the fight for his son in a greasy spoon. In real life, this would be seen as a mental breakdown—here, only a fool would tell him to seek professional help. The more director Alex Takács cuts between the present day and November 1999, the more they bleed together. Some haymakers threaten to knock the man to the floor, others cause him to spray blood (or ketchup) over the walls. That night was a long time, but it still packs a punch. The onus is on 'Ring of Fire' to match or better the best night of his life. He invites his son to join him, though he need a pack of ice and some Vaseline on that cut first.
