"Layla"

Layla's first words.

When Abe wakes up in the middle of night, the last person he expects to see in the kitchen is granddaughter Layla. Not only is it well past her bedtime, she doesn't even exist yet. Her 'first words'—delivered by Jasmine Jobson of 'Top Boy' fame—are also very advanced for a baby.

Layla tells Abe that if he wants to see her grow up to become a fellow Crystal Palace supporter and chocolate fiend, he needs to take care of himself. As a Black middle-aged man, he's got a one in four chance of being diagnosed with prostate cancer. A simple blood test should help him get ahead of the problem.

Before Layla and her superimposed lips disappear (she might go to nursery with the AA baby in a parallel universe), Abe asks who the father is. Aaron is her reply—maybe not the answer Abe wanted to hear, but his granddaughter is quick to shut him down. An endearingly odd effort from the advertised charity.
