"Where There's a Ball, There's a Way"

Keep it up!

This star-strewn Pepsi commercial reminds us that Vinícius Júnior and Vinnie Jones share the same initials. The two have little else in common—Vinícius is a serial trophy winner, Jones is a severe ball crusher— but since when have the brand worried about stuff like that?

Released to mark the 2024 UEFA Champions League final at Wembley Stadium, its third stab at the event, the ad revolves around a heightened game of keepy-uppy that pulls in the likes of Vinícius, Jack Grealish, Son Heung-min, and Leah Williamson. Whoever drops the ball buys a round of Pepsi Zero Sugar.

The result is peak Pepsi with more tricks than you can shake a 330ml can at. Director Ernest Desumbila and editor Joao Silva chuck in a couple of replays for good measure, in case anyone was distracted by the lack of hooligans in front of Wembley Stadium. Pepsi's vision is more palatable for all.
