In this entertaining commercial for Paramount+'s coverage of European football (aka the Champions' League) we are reminded that the matches tend to fall during the working day on the other side of the Atlantic. This leads to a panoply of excuses from those excitedly anticipating the coming fixtures, including our favourite... the man who solemnly announces that his grandmother is going to have to die again.

Everything is sung to the tune of the familiar Champions' League anthem which is based on Zadok the Priest by George Frideric Händel, but was actiually composed in 1992 by Tony Britten. It's an excellent pieces of work and continues director Tom Hooper's excellent run of form.
