Gillian Anderson delivers another charismatic performance for Dreams, the, erm, the Official Sleep Partner of Team GB and ParalympicsGB. It's a quieter effort than last time, and for good reason—Anderson is wide awake, but the likes of Hannah Cockerill and Tom Dean ("Is he a man, or is a fish?") are fast asleep.

Her whispered tones encourage viewers to lean in and join her on a tour of this elite dormitory. Everyone here deserves a good night's sleep after training, so the brand, high on national pride, deliver the necessary beds and mattresses. Anderson, for her part, takes a selfie with a comatose Cockerill. When in Rome, eh?

We also like the idea that athletes sleep with equipment next to or cuddled into them. Such attention to detail means Anderson steals most of the show, but not all of it!
