The drive of her life.
Both The Chordettes and AC/DC provide the soundtrack to this four-wheeled Doritos ad. First on the playlist is ‘Mr Sandman’—not your typical car song, but then agency Goodby Silverstein & Partners and director Gary Freedman's commercial wants to subvert expectations as much as possible. The track goes with an elderly driver who communicates through ballsy but controlled driving and a face that says, "I don't take no shit from nobody." Whether she's behind the wheel in real life or in 'Forza Horizon 5', she drives for the hell of it (and to put some hairs on her grandson's chest in the passenger seat). Yet, like Father Dougal Maguire when he traded a bicycle for rollerblades, she wants bigger and bigger thrills. Cue a burst of 'Thunderstruck' by AC/DC as she tries a monster truck for size. This, say the brand, is how you become a triangle in a world of circles... though keep your tyres the same shape if possible.
