Devolver Digital's 2024 showcase delves further into the cult of Volvy, the rodent mascot introduced last year. The protagonist is a DD devotee—so much so that real life has taken a back seat. All that matters is Volvy's fifteenth birthday party and whatever the publisher have in store for gamers.

If the games are all that matter to you, then the story revolves around titles like 'The Talos Principle II: Road To Elysium', 'The Crush House', and 'Anger Foot' (the name alone deserves a pre-order). If you want to see a man descend into madness like a suburban vole, then director Joseph Pilling and writer Charlie Pilling have got you covered.

There's a hint of 'The Silence of the Lambs' to how a police officer questions the bloke at his front door, then discovers a guest in the attic. He still gets to 'enjoy' Volvy’s fifteenth birthday party, but only in his head, we fear. We hope he gets the help he needs before Devolver Digital's next showcase.
