When Idris Elba isn't breaking out of prison to solve crimes (the honest-to-god plot of 'Luther: The Fallen Sun'), he stars in bat-shit crazy music videos like this one for Solardo. The actor has whale vomit—also known as ambergris—on the brain, and he wants viewers to call in and buy "the world's greatest natural resource" for only £69.99.

If that's too much of a stretch, they can still enjoy the promo that harks back to Nineties infomercials and peak televangelism. Elba's work for Sky and Booking.com indicates a natural born salesman, and he's just as committed here with Big Talk aftershave.

Though he likes the "whiff of lavender and a tint of azure", he's more taken with the beat laid down by producers James Eliot and Mark Richards, as shown by his kaleidoscopic dance moves. Triple threat Elba also provides the vocals, so he deserves every bit of commission from each sale.
