Frozen fields of dreams.

The deaths of four boys in Solihull last December reminded everyone of the dangers of frozen water. Not every trip onto the ice ends in tragedy though, with director Harry George Hall keen to extol the virtues of fen skating. Through still photos and narration by Alex James, the appeal of frozen meadows becomes apparent.

Whether it's the skates themselves (Laces tied by great grandfathers/Leather stretched by distant but significant others") or "the creaks and the cracks/The lines and the tracks" of the surface, you can understand why people flock to the Fens each winter. Another cold snap would do the cast just nicely.
