No calm done.
As the Joker once said: "All it takes is one bad day to reduce the sanest man alive to lunacy. That's how far the world is from where I am. Just one bad day." In the case of mindfulness teacher Zander (Daniel Boyd), all it takes is one bad student. All Zander wants to do is get through this session in one piece, but Steve (Reis Daniels) has questions like, "Is there anyone alive who's actually enlightened?" and—if the Buddha was the last person to achieve spiritual knowledge— "What's the point in doing all this then?" Despite the interruptions, Zander keeps his cool… until he doesn't. The 'fight' that follows is both cathartic and well-staged, even if it's too brutal to be true. Just when you think the protagonist has proved himself worthy of the Buddha, the punchline evokes some of the pandemic's best Zoom bloopers.
