Everything you've come to expect.
This year, Will Wightman showed he's well on his way to puppet master status with 'Red River Farm' for PETA. A new spot for Ore-Ida, a frozen food company, lets him flex his mixed-media muscles. We join a couple as they wait for the brand's crinkle-cut chips to cook in the oven. The bloke says they are "so predictable" in the best way possible, and feels the need to celebrate them through song. His partner, much like the king of Swamp Castle, would rather he didn't. Sucks to be her when trees, bears, mermaids, and animated critters sing about the reliable aspects of life: leaves will grow, birds will sing, the tide will ebb and flow, et cetera. But if that's too jolly for you, Wightman's got your back. Before long, an existential crisis has engulfed most of the cast. Will a monster eat a little girl when she goes to sleep? Is a bear's house plant alive or dead? Will fireballs rain down on Earth? Thank god the advertised snack provides certainty when it's needed most.
