Mae Muller deserved better than second-bottom at the Eurovision Song Contest. How Albania got more points than the United Kingdom is anyone's guess. Rather than wallow in defeat, Muller takes control of her love life with rapier wit ("I had to leave them, I think I found a keeper/It's me, myself and I").

After the excess of May 13th, Amy Becker-Burnett's music video is a well-judged palate cleanser. Muller’s main character energy has only gotten stronger, complemented by strong costume design and a subservient male cast. Meanwhile, the choreography for Muller’s takedown of Charlie, Michael, and Ethan is a real treat.
