Katherine Parkinson and Youssef Kerkour are on double duty at the moment. Not only do they star in ‘Significant Other’ on ITVX, they also interview candidates eager to make viewers laugh. How Parkinson and Kerkour wish they’d stuck to the day job.

Sat before them is a circus clown who makes a balloon animal, and boy does he take his time. Parkinson and Kerkour's patience is pushed to the limit, each squeak worse than a paper cut. When his show stopper's done, his interviewers are even more deflated.

Other streaming services may give the clown his own six-part series, but not ITVX. They expect a certain standard of comedy on the platform, which makes reviews for 'Significant Other' harder to swallow.
