Obsolete technology takes matters into its own hands in this fun commercial from Currys. The piece highlights the company's scheme to encourage customers to recycle their old electronic goods for money off new ones, and suggests the prospect is so enticing that hoovers, phones, and tellies are dragging themselves in if their owners don't get with the programme.

The film captures some nice reactions from a public faced by sentient electronics, with some people embracing the magic (and in one case dancing with a sentient telly) and others doing their best to swerve it entirely. It's a light-hearted way to urge people to do the planet and pocket-friendly thing and trade in old tech for new, helping reuse resources and maintain their finances at the same time.
