In her shoes.

This ninety-second Crisis ad shows what homelessness looks like from a first-person perspective. We see the world through Michelle's eyes after she’s priced out of her rental property and forced to sleep rough. She gets sympathetic looks from a cafe owner and bus driver, but neither are in a position to help.

It's only when she walks into her local Crisis centre that her outlook improves, with commiseration replaced by warmth in more ways than one. Staff and fellow residents see Michelle the person, not the shape in the night, and this allows her to look at herself in the mirror again - this time, in her own home.
