The real Santa C

This hugely enjoyable wholesome hokum feels like exactly the sort of thing that brands should be doing at Christmas time. Coca Cola reinforce their strong attachment to Christmas - and Santa Claus, in particular - with a tale of various people receiving a reminder form the big man himself about the importance of staying on the path of righteousness, and avoiding inclusion on the naughty list.

Octavia Spencer and Scoot McNairy are among the highly capable actors being put through their paces by PRETTYBIRD's Steven Caple Jr, and they do a fine job with Tom Reas and Liam Riddler's script. It is part thriller, part comedy and morality play... but with another room for a bit of a twist in the tale.

The worry with content like this is finding a platform to justify its considerable cost, and if YouTube is the main hope then just over 6,000 viewers after two days suggests it's a difficulty that still needs addressing.
