Juggernaut

Inspired by the relationship between Anna Nicole Smith and J Howard Marshall, this Autoheart promo is about grief by the sea. Drag queen Georgie Bee (aka Fancy Shews!) stars as Vicky, a Margate resident who's not quite ready to let go of her deceased husband.

As she treats his ashes to one last tour of the town, we see flashbacks to the couple in the amusement arcade, on a rollercoaster, and on their wedding day. She kept her dress and veil, so what better time to wear them again than tonight?

Beneath the veil, Vicky appears both beautiful and beastly, as if criticism about her marriage to an older man has turned her into a monster. Make-up artist Guy Common does a great job in this regard, with a demonic brow worthy of 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer'.

On its own, Joseph Wilson's film is a tender, open-minded study of unconventional love. When paired with 'Juggernaut''s wistful lyrics ("Ballistic energies are flooding through my head/As I am lying here remembering your smiling face"), it goes into emotional overdrive.
