Untitled Us

Jovan Todorovic pulls double duty with this promo for ZNTNDR, the band he formed with Ilija Duni. As well as contribute to new track Untitled Us, Todorovic directs an assured music video set in the Tokyo underworld.

When the protagonist is not with his girlfriend, he's with his best mate as they try to climb the criminal ladder together. The introverted young man is committed to both, but you can tell this constant balancing act is doomed to fail.

Before the inevitable happens, Todorovic and DP Oliver Millar craft a series of tactile, observational vignettes that reward patient viewers. Coupled with lyrics like "They said it's all gone/But it will pass when I die", it's a beautiful rumination on fate, love, and violence.
