"Bloodrush"

The new Amazons single 'Bloodrush' belies its title by never really getting the heart pumping. Though frontman Matt Thomson gives it plenty of welly, the track outstays its welcome with vague nods to "a feeling I can't waste". At least the accompanying promo provides some old-school thrills thanks to a knife thrower and other circus performers.
