As darkness falls, Reno8 Pro users take as many twilight photos as possible before boring old daylight returns. There's also an unexpected nod to Squid Game as two women wear teal-and-white tracksuits.

Though the smartphone's innards take centre stage as expected, director Jara Moravec and Andree Du Preez make the setting as lively as possible. Incidental details like a photo shoot outside a travel agents and a narcoleptic newsagent add welcome personality, though the latter's "The End is Nigh" headline feels too close to home!
