Everybody wants to save the world.

This commercial for Montefiore Einstein leans into the broader implications of a period of ill health. It persuasively contends that being unwell can have wide ramifications... in this case, an entire universe is dependent on the successful recuperation of a man undergoing physiotherapy at the hands of personnel from the advertised healthcare provider.

Director Frederik Bond has conjured a fantasy world locked in inertia as it awaits the return of its creator. Only at the end do we discover that the animation of the characters in his model universe are entirely within the imagination of a little boy looking through a shop window.

In between, we see the assistance he receives and should noticed that it is as much about emotional as physical support. It's a beautiful evocation of a simple idea, and one which lodges strongly in the mind of the viewer, provided they don't mind a little saccharine.
