Nearly a decade after controversy over chemicals shared by yoga mats and burger buns, McDonald's present a yoga-themed addition to their Saver Menu campaign. Rather than spend money on a real mat, the protagonist uses a baby one instead... which admittedly adds welcome colour to an otherwise drab session.

The gags in this series of ads are a bit like Christmas cracker jokes but every now and then one of them makes you laugh despite yourself, and this is definitely one of the best. The various strands of McDonald's advertising must provide a beat that keeps the creative department at Leo Burnett marching, with this promotion consistently being the light relief.
